Container lift Port Equipment, have a team of very experienced specialists who carry out the decommissioning of all types of port equipment including, luffing cranes, scotch derricks, ship to shore container cranes, rubber tyred gantry cranes, ship loaders & un-loaders. All works are carried out in accordance with CDM regulations, CLPE supply a full method statement and risk assessment for all works undertaken and have successfully carried out work for major port operators including the following.

Forth Ports PLC Grangemouth, Clyde Port, Rosyth, Port of Jersey, Associated British Ports, Hull, Goole, Immingham, King’s Lynn, Garston.

Relocating Equipment

CLPE also relocate port equipment, we will relocate any type of crane within the port or will transport by tug & pontoon or heavy lift ship worldwide fully insured with marine surveyor appointed for the complete operation.

CLPE personal have over thirty years experience within the industry and project manage all operations involved with our lift supervisor & barge engineers. All operatives are fully certified for all aspects of the work which they carry out.

Consultancy Work

CLPE have experience required to be able to apply valuations to all port equipment . This essential information when planning replacement programme or deciding economic life of current machinery.

Comparisons can be made between new equipment , the supply of pre-owned equipment or refurbishment of current owned machines. Harbour equipment is unique in that the cost of transport and installation is very high and can dramatically effect the current value and also the sellable value.

Equipment manufacturers have a vested interest in modifying valuations to promote their product. CLPE can give an independant true valuation as we have experience of selling used equipment and know all pitfalls which can occur.

CLPE have a very good working relationship with most manufacturers as they require our assistance to dispose of surplus machinery and often prefer we make private arrangement with clients direct for obvious reasons.
